The Bears Den crèche is so much fun that you might find your children begging to go back there every day…
For older children, the Blue Room, with its table football, Wii games, air hockey and board games, offers the sense of autonomy they so often crave.
Our Ofsted-registered crèche is run by enthusiastic and imaginative staff, who come up with fabulous, age-targeted activities every day. Whether it’s arts and crafts, baking, outdoor exploring or a range of themed sessions, little ones will be kept busy, happy, and stimulated.
Throughout the year, the Elms hosts special annual events with bouncy castles and games, a family fun barbecue and teddy bears’ picnic.
Sessions and booking
Supervised sessions for children aged 12 weeks to eight years run from 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm (giving you time to have a relaxing treatment at the spa, or to head to the lounge for coffee, biscuits and an uninterrupted go at reading the papers).
Pre-booking is required for all supervised sessions. One session is available per child, per day, and operates on a first-come, first served basis.
From 12.30pm to 2.30pm, families are welcome to use the crèche as an unsupervised drop-in.
The Blue Room
An unsupervised space for children over the age of eight to make some new friends and enjoy having some time to themselves. Open from 10am to 10pm each day, the Blue Room contains a selection of Nintendo Wii games as well as a football table, air hockey table, board games and books suitable for older children.
Sunday morning breakfast club
Lazy lie-ins! Every Sunday at 8am, the Bears Den team can come to your room and collect hungry little ones (aged 2+) for a continental breakfast in the Bears Den. Which leaves you free to enjoy a rare lie in and a quiet breakfast before collecting your children at 9.30am. This is a complimentary service and to book please just speak to the Den team.
