Fabulous food should always be at the heart of a good hotel and at The Elms, we pay particular attention to the quality of our food at every level. Head chef John Brandon, brings decades of fine dining experience to the restaurant, whilst The Elms kitchen garden continually supplies freshly picked fruits, vegetables and herbs to accompany many locally source and fine British ingredients.

Should you stay at The Elms, you can indulge in a hearty British breakfast, cooked to order just how you like it using many local ingredients – from local free range eggs to sausages and bacon. Alternatively, we always have a delightful continental breakfast on offer.

Come rain or shine, you can always pop in for a relaxing drink at The Elms. There’s nothing to beat an illy coffee in the lounge by the fire on a chilly day, whereas a drink in the gardens with friends on a sunny summer’s day can be the perfect past-time when you have a spare moment.
Fine dining in the Brookes restaurant
A discerning three-course lunch is available every day in the Brookes restaurant, in addition to fine dining seven evenings a week. Indeed, we also offer you a traditional Sunday lunch menu. Here, you will experience the true delights of John’s creative menus, where his culinary skills provide you with British inspired dishes using the very best and freshest of ingredients.
Should you wish to experience a taste sensation, we would recommend our seven-course Tasting Menu to you. Changing to reflect the seasons, you’ll delight at the tastes, creativity and presentation of this astounding meal. Light bites anytime
Of course, there are times when you might just fancy a spot of lunch in the bar or a light meal in the evening. The Elms All Day Menu is available from 12 noon until 9pm, including hearty sandwiches, tasty home-cooked dishes and the best of British flavours. It can be a delicious alternative to our fine dining restaurant and you’re welcome to the served in the bar, the lounge or even the gardens on a warmer day
Truly British afternoon tea
There can be nothing more pleasing that taking afternoon tea with friends and family. With such historic splendour, The Elms is an iconic Worcestershire venue for afternoon tea and we work hard to exceed your expectations. You might opt for our simple cream tea, with homemade scones, cream and jam, or alternatively, create more of an occasion with The Elms Afternoon Tea or even The Mumm Champagne Afternoon Tea. With assorted homemade breads and homemade sweet treats, tuck up by the fire or gather in the garden on a warm day.
The Library Bar
Serving everything from illy coffee, Mumm Champagne, cocktails and many other drinks, the Library Bar is at the heart of The Elms for both residents and those simply popping in for a drink during the day or evening. Lean back in our sumptuous sofas and put the world to rights with a friend or two – you’ll never feel rushed and always be most welcome to spend some time with us.
