Summer 2008 at The Elms is set to be the best yet. Every day through the summer holidays, there will be a series of fun activities and entertainment for all ages. From the Magic Man and fantastic animal encounters, to educational art classes – everything has been thought of to make your stay at The Elms as complete as possible.

Magic Man (One Hour Magic Show in Crèche (outdoor weather permitting)

Animal Man (One Hour Animal Encounter in Crèche)
Every Wednesday from July 23rd 2008

Trevor Hill – The Animal Man will be at The Elms Hotel every Wednesday afternoon during the school summer holidays. From the weird and wonderful reptiles and unusual animals, to the spectacular falconry displays, Trevor provides a truly interactive experience, allowing his audience to meet and handle the animals. Trevor will also provide educational insight into the behaviour of the various animals on display giving everyone a fun, insightful and memorable animal encounter.
Fantasy Puppet Show (45 Minute Puppet Show in Crèche)

The oldest show on earth is coming to The Elms for Summer 2008. Every Thursday throughout school summer holidays, a traditional “seaside” puppet show will take place in the Bears Den Crèche. The Fantasy Puppet show will also feature in our “Beside the Seaside without the Sea” August Bank Holiday weekend. Book now to avoid missing out on one of the oldest and most traditional forms of entertainment.

Children’s Art & Pottery Class in Games Room

The Elms has commissioned a resident artist for 2008. Melanie Chaplain – Spence, a renowned children’s artist from Worcestershire will be at The Elms every Friday in school summer holidays. She will be holding a series of art classes for all ages at The Elms, ranging from guided painting lessons to pottery painting. Melanie will explain and guide guests through the whole process of creation. All participants will leave with their completed projects, which can be collected from reception on checking out from the hotel. |
