Wild Winter Weekends at West Midland Safari Park

West Midland Safari Park really warms to winter with Wild Winter Weekends starting on Saturday 15th November 2014 and running right up Sunday, 8th February 2015.
 

In the animal reserves you will be able to encounter the fastest land animal on earth in Cheetah Plains, along with a magnificent display of rare and exotic animals in the 100-acre, four-mile, all-weather drive-through safari. There’s also the only pride of rare White Lions in the UK; the largest family group of White Tigers and more than 600 exotic animals from Elephants to Wild Dogs and Giraffe to Rhino.
There’s plenty to explore on foot too; including Discovery Trail with Penguin Cove to see one of the Park’s latest exhibits; Twilight Cave- home to free flying bats, in the Reptile House you’ll see all kinds of snakes and reptiles from all over the world, whilst the Sea Lion Theatre has several stunning live performances daily.  Furthermore, the Creepy Crawlies Exhibit is sure to send shivers down the spine!! And, Seaquarium uncovers the breath-taking world of underwater wildlife.
The theme park and rides are closed for winter. West Midland Safari Park fully opens on Saturday, 14th February 2015.

Valentines Dining

Have a family but want to treat your loved one too?  Book a table for lunch at The Elms allowing the children to enjoy it with you, with the peace of mind that you can indulge in a grown up environment where children are very much welcome!  The children can run off some energy whilst exploring the fairy trail, bouncing about on the trampoline in the adventure playground or making the most of the toys and games on offer in the kids corner.

Our Valentines Menu is available for lunch on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th February from 12.30pm - 2pm

Tomato consommé, vegetable pearls and spinach crepe (v)

Galantine of chicken, duck mousseline, roasted kumquats, and dressed leaves

Marinated venison carpaccio, parmesan crisp, rocket lettuce and white balsamic dressing

Lamb rack, braised lamb shoulder, minted pea mousse, mash with home glazed ham and peppers, rosemary jus

Gurnard, scallop, Jerusalem artichoke puree, wilted kale, white wine buerre blanc

Double baked Worcester white pudding, pineapple pickle, poached hens egg, saffron potatoes (v)
