The Kitchen team at The Elms, lead by acclaimed Head Chef Daren Bale have turned their hand to cheese making. Following the award of “Best British Cheeseboard”, cheese at The Elms is a definite treat for all who sample the extensive cheese menu. Now, with the aid of a local farm, the team in The Elms Kitchen has developed its own brand of cheese aptly named “Four Chefs”. Once a week, members of the team head to the local goat farm to create the hard, parmesan like cheese, which will be available on The Elms cheeseboard from October 2008. Samples of “Four Chefs” will also be available in The Elms Christmas Hampers, which will also include home made Christmas Pudding, short bread, fudge and marmalade.
