The Elms team is proud to have acclaimed Head Chef, David Hammond, on board, providing both the Garden Café and Brookes Restaurant with beautifully designed menus to suit both adults and children.

Brookes Restaurant

Brookes Restaurant achieves the balance between family dining and parents desiring fine dining, serving family breakfast and lunch and an adult only a la carte dinner every day.

Breakfast is a family affair in Brookes, with a range of exciting yet healthy options for children and adults alike. With a family menu option available all day for all ages, why not take lunch in the beautiful Brookes Restaurant?

The Gallery, in the opposite wing to Brookes, offers an early dinner sitting for families wishing to dine together with menu choices from either the Brookes a la carte or the Garden Cafe menu.

Parents who wish to enjoy some grown up time can take the little ones along to high tea in the Garden Café, then dine in Brookes after the children are tucked up in bed. The baby listening service will monitor the sleeping children, allowing parents to remember the times before children came along.

Service Hours
• Breakfast: 7.30am – 10am
• Lunch: 12pm – 2pm
• Family dinner (in Gallery): 6.30pm – 8pm (pre-booking is required)
• Adult dinner: 7pm – 9pm

Please note that the location of family dining may be subject to change during busy times; you will be informed on arrival if this is the case. 

The Garden Cafe

Looking out to beautiful gardens,the Garden Café is the perfect place for a lighter meal in a relaxed family atmosphere. As part of the spa complex, the brasserie has a laid back family atmosphere all day, with great views and access to our gorgeous gardens, kitchen vegetable garden and the Garden Café outside dining area. An all-day dining menu is on offer for both adults and children providing something for everyone. Baby’s milk can be provided, warmed and free of charge, and anything from our menu can be puréed for babies with growing appetites.

The Garden Café also hosts children’s high tea which offers all the foodie favourites, yet ensuring they get their daily healthy balance.

Service Hours
• Full menu: 12pm – 2pm and 6.30pm – 9pm
• Snack menu: 10am – 9.30pm
• High tea: 5pm – 6pm (pre-booking is required)

Please note that during service of high tea, the Garden Café cannot serve family dining within the Garden Café.  High tea may sometimes be held in The Gallery room during peak times; guests will be advised on arrival if this is the case.

Other Dining

Relax in our bar and lounges with morning tea or coffee, something light from our Garden Café Menu, a traditional afternoon tea or an evening tipple. Our lounges boast roaring log fires in winter, comfy sofas and armchairs and plenty of children’s toys to keep the little ones occupied whist you relax with the morning papers. On a summer's day enjoy afternoon tea out on the patio in the beautiful gardens.

We offer a range of traditional and herbal infused teas and selection of coffees all served with delicious homemade biscuits. The afternoon menu provides something for everyone from a traditional cream tea to a full champagne afternoon tea and not forgetting a scrumptious Teddy Bears tea for the children.

Service Hours
• Tea and coffee: available all day from 7.30am
• Afternoon tea: 2.30pm – 5.30pm

Afternoon teas are advised to be pre-booked; the Witley Court full afternoon tea and Champagne afternoon tea need to be ordered no later than 12pm on the day required and is to be taken during the afternoon tea service times.

Menus

Our menus have been carefully created with you and the little ones in mind to ensure the whole family enjoys every dining experience at The Elms.

Most allergies and dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice. Any special occasion menus such as Easter, Mother's and Father's Day and Christmas are available on request.

Private Dining
