Waiting Staff

We currently have vacancies in our Food & Beverage department for Waiting Staff.

These challenging roles require enthusiastic, highly motivated and truly professional individuals to join our team.

You will develop a complete working knowledge of the menu and any specials, and will also be able to answer customer queries quickly, knowledgeably and in a discreet manner in line with our high standards.

Attention to detail, a focus on customer care and an excellent work ethic are essential, and all applicants must have experience in a similar environment.

The hours of work are on a casual basis and depend on the seasonal demands of the business.

Reception Host

As a reception host, you will be the first point of contact for our customers.  Upon arrival you will greet them with genuine warmth and charm.  During their stay you will act as a concierge and advise them of things to see and do to enhance their stay.

The ideal candidate will;

Make Hotel, Spa, Den and Restaurant reservations and up-sell wherever possible

Make exceptional customer service a priority

Ideally have hotel reception experience and have used a PMS systems such as Fidelio.

Be confidence using computers including software such as Microsoft Office

Be willing to work a shift pattern which ranges from 7am until 11pm also weekends and holidays

Have knowledge of the local area and attractions

Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities

Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments

Assist with other departments, as necessary

-You must possess excellent interpersonal skills; have an eye for attention to detail and care passionately about every guest’s experience.
-We need a strong team player but with the ability to show initiative and work on your own.
-Computer literacy is essential and previous hospitality experience of working within a similar environment is preferred.
-You must have a smart appearance due to the face to face contact you will have with our clients.
-We are looking for a real people person with a clear telephone voice with excellent spoken and written English and good administration skills.
-Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns as working at weekends and bank holidays will be expected.
-Due to the business mix liking children is essential.
